Description
Manufacturer Overview
A passionate yachtsman and water sport enthusiast, Wim van der Valk founded the company that bears his name in 1967 and remains the driving force behind it today. Since its inception, Van der Valk has built a rich heritage in both steel and aluminium motor yachts. The success of the first cabin and aft-cabin design cruisers measuring from seven to ten metres quickly attracted widespread acclaim from the yachting public.
Today, Van der Valk’s production facilities in Waalwijk (NL) produce only a select number of bespoke yachts every year. This ensures unrivalled quality and exclusivity for individual owners. Each and every yacht benefits from the strictest quality control and a first-rate construction process. Only after intensive sea trials and quality control procedures can boats leave the yard for delivery to their new owners.
Van der Valk owes its ongoing success over the decades to an unwavering dedication to key values such as reliability, cooperation and a forward-thinking approach. As a family-run company with a pedigree that spans generations, Van der Valk understands the value of keeping one’s word and creating yachts that stand the test of time. They abide by agreements made with customers, suppliers and staff; building yachts which function equally as well as they look. Partners and buyers are considered as family members – and this is reflected in excellent relationships and many repeat clients.
Model Overview
An exciting opportunity to obtain this Van der Valk 660 BeachClub, available now and ready to launch.
Launched in 2019, the BeachClub 660 Flybridge Alvaro has performed superbly as a show boat. Ready for visits and test drives in Denia (Spain), early viewing is recommended to see for yourself why Alvaro has inspired a new generation of Van der Valk fans.
The Van der Valk BeachClub series takes the freshest yacht trends and effortlessly combines them with their years of expertise in manufacturing robust, seaworthy yachts.
Created in partnership with Cor D Rover design, this beautiful “aft-cabin” inspired yacht always stops people in their tracks. The BeachClub 660’s modern aesthetic is impressively combined with a range of elegant touches. Offering a completely new way of looking at space, this line is the product of many months of R&D and decades of experience.
This unique concept dispenses with the traditional engine room, installing the propulsion system aft in the area of the swim platform. Whilst the hull for the BeachClub 660 is specially designed for the Volvo Penta IPS system, a joystick-operated pod-type drive with counter-rotating propellers.
The result is up an unprecedented amount of interior volume, space for three awesome al fresco zones and an emphasis upon wellness, relaxation and fun. A sense of space is further enhanced by a liberal use of glass, with all-round sea views from the two lounges and master suite. Glass inserts in the hull give an extra air of class to her elegant modern profile.
The essence of the BeachClub philosophy is placing the engine room within the swimming platform area. As well as freeing up lots of al fresco space on the decks, this creates extra real estate in the interior that’s been used to great effect on Alvaro. An attractive laid-back style welcomes you with beautifully finished whitewashed oak nicely offset by high gloss white elements. Finally, the yacht’s hard chine planing hull is finished in a standout Horizon Blue metallic paint system to offer a lively coastal look and feel.
