Iris brings together two well known and respected names in the canal industry. Built by Andicraft Fabrications, based at Debdale, who have crafted over 400 shells, with a fit-out by Pat Buckle known for his distinctive, straightforward style, in this case, using robust ash. He earned a stellar reputation for producing well constructed, competitively priced craft and he always had a strong following in the private market.
Iris stands out for her simplicity, yet she includes everything necessary onboard to fully enjoy the waterways. Designed in the popular REVERSE layout with the galley at the aft and the bedroom at the fore.
The galley is equipped with gas cooking, fridge and generous worktop space. A Pullman dinette offers a dining area during the day, converting into a double for overnight guests. In the saloon, you will find two single futons and a solid fuel stove, supplementing the Hurricane diesel central heating.
The shower room is designed with a cassette wc and washbasin, with hot water heated by engine, boiler and immersion heater. The master bedroom at the fore offers a double wardrobe and ample storage space.
