Owners Comments
The centre cockpit design of the Moody 376 has allowed efficient use of the hull volume to provide a spacious cruising interior for the family. Notable features include the big owners cabin aft with separate heads and large U-shaped galley with extensive work surfaces. I am the 4th owner of Ellen Jane purchasing her in 2018. The second owner in 1995 and 3rd in 2012.
The following improvements have been made to the boat.
Hull professionally taken back to gelcoat, checked for osmosis, gel shield renewed (4 coats) and hull, shaft and propellor re-antifouled. Contractor letter confirming that the boat was free from osmosis.
Propellor shaft seal replaced, cutlass bearing and anodes replaced.
Sails cleaned & serviced (2024). New Main UV strip replaced, Genoa sheets replaced, main sheet replaced, mainsheet blocks replaced.
Accommodation :
One of the standout features of the Moody 376 is its spacious and well-designed interior, especially for a boat of its size.
The saloon is large, with a U-shaped seating area around a central table, which can convert into additional sleeping space.
This version features two cabins: a V-berth in the bow and a large (with infill), aft owner's cabin with a double bed.
The galley is situated on the port side and is equipped with a 2 burner gas stove, oven, grill, refrigerator, microwave and ample storage, making it ideal for cruising.
There are two heads each with a shower and toilet.
Ample storage is provided throughout the boat, making it well-suited for long-distance cruising or liveaboard life.
