I promised my family I would retire from sailing by the age of 80. I reached this milestone earlier this year, so she's now up for sale.

According to her last survey in May 2022, "SPRAY has benefitted from good initial build quality and what would appear to be lightly used and considerate ownership. She is a good example of her class".
Her upholstery, headlining and internal woodwork are in very good condition.
She was professionally antifouled and new anodes were fitted in April 2024. Her standing rigging had a major service in 2019.

I have sailed her, mostly single-handed along the south coasts of Devon and Cornwall.

She is cheap to moor because of her length but her length doesn't affect her speed. She's faster than my previous Bavaria 31.

Currently she is on a pontoon berth in Millbay Marina right next to Plymouth Sound and her berthing fees are fully paid up to 31st March 2025. I am prepared to let the successful buyer use this berth free of charge for one month from the date of purchase and if required by the buyer to transfer the berth to him/her thereafter. The berth is shown in one of the photographs (with the last Plymouth Sail GP Village in the background!)

Although she is being advertised privately her conveyancing will be carried out by a well respected Plymouth yacht broker.
The ABYA Sale & Purchase Agreement and the MCA Bill of Sale Documents will be used.

Even though I say it myself "Spray" is an extremely clean and tidy boat and very easy to sail.

2no.batteries, both reasonably new 100AH and 95AH.
Batteries charged by engine alternator or mains charger on shore power or an unused small solar panel as standby.
Shore power with 3no. 13amp sockets.

This engine has never failed to start first time and is in good condition.
